Daria Dorato is an actress, singer, songwriter, accordionist and life coach, born in Nowy Targ. Founder of Always Goddess Club and promoter of topics related to self-development, mental health and spirituality. She creates music in the electro/alternative/trip hop genre. She draws her musical inspiration from artists such as Prodigy, Björk, Lana del Rey, Massive Attack, Die Antwoord and La Roux. After a multi-year hiatus due to health problems, surgeries and rehabilitation, she is back in the world of “the living,” promoting material from her self-titled album “It Should Be On The Radio,” among others. To date, she has created more than 60 songs and starred in series productions on TV stations such as Polsat, TVN, TVN7, Puls 2 and TVP.

Ever since she can remember, she has always danced, sang, and played various dramatic roles in front of the bathroom mirror, regularly blocking access to the toilet for unsuspecting family members. As a child, she watched figure skating shows for hours, learned to do a split after seeing an artistic gymnastics performance on TV, and dreamed of a career as a ballerina or actress. Unfortunately, the nearest ballet school was far away from her home region - Podhale, so her family decided to send her to the Frederic Chopin Music School in Nowy Targ. As a 10-year-old at the time, Daria was told that she was already too old to start piano lessons, which she accepted with great sorrow. Instead, she was offered a choice of three other instruments: accordion, flute, or guitar. It fell on the accordion, and as she recalls, after her first lesson she cried in her grandfather's Wartburg, lamenting that she would never learn to play that "heavy box." Years later, she admits that she began lessons with "a man angel"- an exceptionally understanding and patient pedagogue and accordionist, Witold Krupa, to whom she still owes her acquisition of keyboard and button accordion skills. After graduating from the first level of Music School, Daria returned to dance for good. She attended modern dance classes with Ms. Beata Korczak at the City Cultural Center in Nowy Targ, ran her own dance group called "Electric Force" for a while, appeared on the dance program "In the Rhythm of MTV," and discovered the Krakow-based Ballet of Modern Forms (pol. Balet Form Nowoczesnych) created by choreographer and ballet master Jan Maria Birczynski. She joined the BFN as a 16-year-old, shuttling every weekend between her school in Zakopane and ballet rehearsals in Krakow. Birczynski's choreographies choreographed to jazz, blues as well as classical music by artists such as Herbie Hancock, Antonio Vivaldi, Jan Sebastian Bach, and Krzysztof Penderecki, among others, have strongly shaped her sense of aesthetics and broadened her artistic horizons. In addition to Linkin Park, HIM, and System of a Down, she has listened to Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Philip Glass, and Miles Davis, among others. Together with the ballet, she has performed at events such as the "Researchers' Night" at the "Rotunda" Cultural Center in Cracow, the "Night of Theaters" on the Market Square in Cracow, the Theater Festival in Stralsund, Germany, a performance on the occasion of the jubilee of the Polish men's basketball club "Wisla Kraków" at the European Hotel and the stage at the AGH University of Science and Technology, Cracow.

As a high school student, she also performed in a theater group called "At Sixteen," headed by actor Juliusz Chrząstowski. She lived in Spain, Wales and England before graduating from the SPOT acting school in Cracow, meanwhile leading the "Burlesque Blush" dance group.

She celebrated her twenty-fourth birthday confined to an orthopedic bed after surviving a suicide attempt, about which she speaks openly, drawing attention to mental health issues and problems of that nature affecting adults as well as adolescents and children. According to the doctors who miraculously saved her, she was then supposed to stay in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. However, fate wrote a different script for her and put Wojtek Korczak, a rehabilitator, on her path, to whom Daria owes taking her first steps again. During this difficult and challenging stage of her life, she turned to art; she painted paintings, created graphics, wrote song lyrics, studied English, and finally decided to compose her first single in English called "Money Talks."

Her self-produced album titled "It Should Be On The Radio" features selections from the electronic, alternative, and trip hop music genres. Daria doesn't close herself off from a variety of musical inspirations in her art, experimenting with nu-jazz, rock, and pop alike. So far, she has performed solo at her musical concert titled "Mermaid On Fire Show" at the Municipal Cultural Center, during the 27th Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, the 2018 Dance Tournament Gala, the Winter Tatry Cup, at the Gorce Hall in Nowy Targ, as well as at the Zakopane Family Children's Home and as support for Polish singer Wrona.

She also managed to return to acting and successfully starred in such productions as the Polish series "Lombard. Life Under Pledge," "The Caste," "Riddles of Fate," "Hospital," "The Hidden Truth," "Family Secrets" and "Cops."
